We store the information needed to provide your account, plans and journal: email address, display name, a secure password hash, submitted text, photos, dates and the records you choose to save. Account and anti-spam systems use necessary session cookies, verification status and limited security records.

Plans are private by default. Private journal entries and their photos are not included in public feeds or search pages. Approved public stories, display names, comments and photographs can be indexed by search engines. Authorised site administrators can access stored content for support, moderation and service operation; private does not mean end-to-end encrypted.

Tools calculate in your browser. Optional browser saving stores inputs on that device; exports may contain private information. Necessary cookies keep you signed in and protect forms. Local storage can remember a dismissed newsletter popup. External photographs and links contact the relevant third-party website, which receives ordinary network information such as your IP address.

If enabled, email and SMS providers deliver verification or service messages. Requested translations send the relevant text to the configured translation provider. Public newsletter subscription requires confirmation and can be cancelled through its unsubscribe link. We do not intentionally add account credentials to translation requests.

Keep only guest information you need and have permission to use. You can edit or remove entries and plans from your account. Contact the site team to request account access, correction, export or deletion; identity may need to be checked. Information is retained only as needed for service, security, disputes and applicable obligations. Contact the site team for details about retention and your account information.

When you invite collaborators, they can view all planning details, including guest contacts, dietary notes and budgets. Editing rights depend on the role you grant. Only the owner manages invitations and website sharing. If you enable a wedding website, anyone holding its link can view the website details and approved photos; it is an unlisted link, not a password-protected page. Each guest needs a personal invitation link to submit an RSVP or upload photos for approval. These responses and photos are stored with the plan. You can revoke access, replace sharing links or disable the website. Private planning text is not automatically sent to translation providers. Backups contain planning text, not photo files or invitation credentials; save your photos separately.
